MASSIMO LEOTARDI LANDSCAPE
PHOTOGRAPHY
"With my camera, I capture the images that would otherwise escape my eyes. Through the lens, I celebrate the changes in the seasons and their beauty. I contemplate the passage of time ....... and the imperfect nature of life".
Snowdonia june 2024
I was born in a small town in central Italy in 1957.
I have been an artist all my life and my profession took me to a small village in Hampshire in 1990, where I worked as a banknote designer and watermark engraver.
having retired quite a few years ago, I still run a watermark engraving course at the Paper Museum in Basel Switzerland.
I live now in the northwest of England, with my wife Jacqueline.
This North West location gives me fairly easy access to the Peak District, Snowdonia National Park, and the Lake District and I've also got quite a few local woodlands that I visit regularly, (like Delamere and Macclesfield Forest).
Photography is nowadays my passion and my main occupation together with, what I call "my art", which is difficult to define, but if you are interested you can see it in "My Art" section of this Website.
